The initial franchise fee is $650. The monthly Continuing Franchise Fee is 25 percent of gross revenues. Additional expenses include:

  • A yearly liability insurance premium available through “F.I.T.™”. Approximate cost is $150 to $190.
  • New programmes and routines. Approximate cost is $150 to $250 per annum.
  • Equipment, including:
    • A DVD player to view and learn new programmess and routines;
    • A computer system: a PC, printer, access to e-mail and the Internet, and the “F.I.T.™” software/database (Windows-based) or you can use your own (if you already have one); and a telephone answering machine.
  • Facility rental and promotional costs

As a newly franchised instructor, you will teach your first class for an investment as low as $2,500 using public facilities rented by the hour, or approximately $10,000 to $30,000 if you lease a commercial site and open a full fledged “F.I.T.™” Fitness Center.
